Suicide Awareness In Ireland (ÉIRE)

It is the time of year when we all look forward to the arrival of spring and the lengthening of the days and shortening of the nights which is welcome.

However, let us not forget that there are families out there trying to come to terms with their loss of a loved one to suicide, and in Ireland, there are 2 families per day enduring this pain and inexplicable loss.

Yet, the Government does not seem to think of it as an emergency despite the fact that more lives are being lost to suicide than on our national roads every year.

For those of you out there trying to cope with this issue, I have placed hereunder some links to websites of organisations which I believe may be of assistance and will also place them on the links list for future reference.
