This blog is here for a purpose and I have never placed anything up here which has not been verified at least 3 times from independent and varying sources, and this rule of thumb applies at all times irrespective of the story.
My allegation of collusion between An Garda Síochána and Bishop Walsh in the Diocese of Killaloe in relation to the shafting of a (senior)

Let it be noted that in Ireland there has been a proven historical record of such collusion and the Ferns Report, more than any report to date, highlights this issue in very stark terms and examples contained between the covers raise some very serious questions indeed. The fact that Bishop Walsh and indeed the remaining members of the Purple Parliament have literally got away with abuse in this country is down to the fact that the cosy cartel of corruption and collusion between the palaces and the local Garda station is still intact.
The Rev.’d Ian Paisley and indeed many others have referred to this part of the island of Ireland as being priest ridden and popish and indeed never was such a truer word uttered or spluttered by anyone. The unfortunate fact that we have a Taoiseach (prime minister) who publicly prides himself on being a joined up member of the Purple Parliament Fan Club does not help the victims of clerical abuse one iota in this country. This all harks back to the time of deValera and John Charles McQuaid, former Archbishop of Dublin who between them dominated and dictated this country for so long and gave us our Constitution which still gives preferential treatment to the Catholic hierarchy in every way possible.
Ireland of 2007 is no less or more different to that of the Ireland of the last 150 years and it seems that not only are we priest ridden but also with the corruption of a police force so corrupt as to be bankrupt. They have learned well from their spiritual masters… plus c’est change…
