A former Dublin priest has admitted in court to indecently assaulting two children in the 1970s and 1980s.
Tony Walsh, 56, from Bunratty Road, Coolock pleaded guilty today to three charges of abusing the two boys.
Walsh was ministering as a priest in Ballyfermot during the period.
He pleaded guilty to two counts of indecently assaulting one of the children in the presbytery of the Church of the Assumption in Ballyfermot between November 1978 and April 1979.
He also admitted abusing the second boy five years later between January 1984 and
December 1985 at the De la Salle school.
He was also convicted by a jury last month of abusing another boy over a four-year period
He is to be sentenced for all offences next Monday (December 5th 2010).
Reporting restrictions on naming the former priest were lifted after the court was told there were no more cases relating to him outstanding.
