Sotto Voce...

My dear friends, it seems like no time since the postings for Lent started to be placed on this blog and now we are more than half way through the season.

It is frightening in a way at how quickly time is passing here but at least we are heading into Easter and indeed longer days and evenings so Spring is truly here.

As I am taking the next few days off (due to work more than anything else let it be noted!!) the following is how this blogspot shall be operated over that time.....

St Patricks Day 2007

As I am personally away for this blessed day, indeed from tomorrow until Sunday which is Mothers Day here in Ireland, I will be placing postings here which will cover those days but there will be no 'scandal' so apologies in advance for that.
The posting for this day will be placed tonight (Thursday) and will be as Gaeilge in honour of the day itself.

The Breastplate of Saint Patrick will be posted as part of the contribution.

Mothers Day 18th. March 2007

It is not the usual for this day to fall so closely to St Patricks Day and personally it is not a day I believe in as I am of the opinion that every day should be mothers day and this is just a Hallmark day.

At any rate, I will post a special prayer for all mothers on the blogspot, and keep them in my Mass that day for which I have prepared a special liturgy for those wishing to avail of it, feel free contact me before midnight tonight.

I must say a big thank you to my loyal fans who have helped the numbers over the 16,000 mark in the last few days and may I take this opportunity to wish you one and all the very best and every blessing for Saint Patrick's Day.

Gach beannacht oraibh go léir!!
